Janie Gross is an internationally known designer/author/artist. Her professional journey includes advertising/graphic design, creative/art direction, authorship, brand development, landscape design, floral design certification, photography, textile design, stationery product design, mixed media, and ceramics.

This website chronicles part of Janie’s professional journey, beginning with a BFA in Advertising Design from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. The early years were spent working in numerous facets of the graphic design field. Nearly 25 years into her illustrious career, Janie authored and designed her first book, “The Afterlife of Flowers,” and the book changed her life forever. Read on to see the products and publicity that grew out of Janie’s proverbial garden book and a glimpse at her most recent work that continues to inspire her clients, friends, and colleagues.

This year marks Janie Gross’s solo exhibition, Janie Gross—FurtherMoore, at Moore College of Art & Design, where she acquired her foundation in design.

Janie is an Associate at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, where she lives with her husband. She also loves spending time with her two daughters and their families.
